&^%% the numbers for the PS3 & 360. For both systems it doesn't matter. Everyone is enjoying CoD4!! And I hope other companies who want to birth a FPS analyze this franchise for a shot of sucess. Capcom are kings when it comes to revamping old hit games. If it is a April fool's joke, it's a damn good one. Knowing me, I'll trade in my wii Edition just for the xtra features.
I guess we all used to playing fighting games like Street Fighter, Tekken that we're used to the PS2 controls. I love the look of Lair, but the Sixaxis controls suck. I'm still waiting for the update for that. Now the Wii control & nunchuck (defiantly for Bowling) is the *&&^!!! Flipping & twisting both of my wrist I'm still trying to get used to. Hopefully soon, some 3rd-party company will make a PS3 controller with rumble and better #2 grip buttons or triggers.
I can't say it's the best controller invented. The Dualshock is better than the PS3 controller. The reason is the #2 buttons on the Sixaxis have no shape of curve when pushing downwards. It's like using a button for a trigger. Pushing the buttons "inward" was better for me on the PS2 controller.
That would be hot. But Rockstar & Sony got to converse spec's for Home & GTA4 together to do that. You might not have the same clothes, body & facial features.
Now to take your idea to the next level is this... Make your Avatar adaptable for all future 3rd & Over the Shoulder person games. That would be a Gold-star for the PS3. That hot!!
71 cars and 6 tracks?! I'm really not feeling the small content of Prolouge. My main concern would be racing online and having fools bumping and using T-bone tactics to win. That's one of the reasons I like about Forza. You crash your car, you risk big damage that you have to pay credits for. So, you have no choice but to drive with common sense.
Even if this date is not true. Just take your time developing the game. No need to rush quality.
